Reading Retreats
Maximise Your Time
So Many Books for Stäfeli
The Reading Retreats of our Library
1. Did you know?
That you get something from the books you browse through, while waiting at the reception? Something for the day, for the conversation at the breakfast or dining table or for the last walk of the day.
2. Flipping through the day
During breakfast and afternoon coffee, we lay out books and selected magazines to flip through, such as coffee table books on cooking, travel, and the beautiful things in life.

3. Pick up while passing
In the passage way, you'll find short stories for quick reads. There's also a separate section with books about the designers at Stäfeli, like Tricia Guild, for example.

4. ZeitRaum
Read in peace. Take your time.
In the ZeitRaum, you will find enough time and space for reading. The library features books organized by colour according to moods. Don't judge a book by its cover, judge it by its colour.

5. EnergieRaum & WohlfühlRaum
Unwind in peace.
In the spa area, it's more about flipping through and listening than reading. High-quality and unique magazines complement the standard reading materials. Additionally, you can listen to exciting audiobooks.

6. LeseRaum
Read in peace. Take your time. Again and again.
In the LeseRaum, you'll find the second part of the emotional library.
7. PhantasieRaum
As it once was.
Find old children's books from Gitti and Heinz there, next to the Donald Duck pocket comic book collection, and many Asterix and Obelix magazines. In the children's corner, the little guests will find enough to immerse themselves in exciting worlds.

Way back home for partially read books
Back to Stäfeli by Mail
Reading an entire book over the weekend or even in a week is not always possible. But once you're into it, you're reluctant to leave it behind. Before the guilty conscience kicks in because you've taken a book that actually belongs to Stäfeli, there are pre-stamped envelopes so that you can finish reading the partially read book at home and then simply send it back by mail. Reading without remorse, indeed.
