Sharing a culinary experience makes a meal even more enjoyable: welcome to the “s‘Achtele” Wine Bar!
In the stylish and cosy ambience of our restaurant you can enjoy imaginative culinary creations lovingly and artfully prepared with fresh local ingredients. In our restaurant both hotel guests and non-residents are welcome.
Our wine-pickled white cabbage, “sauerkraut” and red cabbage are particularly praised by our guests. We even craft the vinegar so we can offer you in our restaurant homemade white wine vinegar, red wine vinegar and raspberry vinegar. A wide variety of jams, made in summer, sweetens the breakfast served at the Stäfeli. In autumn Heinz Brink and our head chef Andi Rumpf are busy to fill the larder for wintertime. The game supplied by local hunters is transformed into ragout and game stock and the meat is cut into medallions. Hearty lard, fine pork meat and oven-smoked bacon are produced from local Alpine pigs.
Once a week in winter, we offer our hotel guests a fondue for dinner. You are served as delicious “Fondue Chinoise”, including veal and beef tenderloin and chicken breast, which are cooked in a strong beef stock. With that we serve savoury and spicy sauces, salads, steamed potatoes, French fries, garlic bread and paprika. And after the meal you can sip the soup refined with cherry. Hhhhhmmmm! Upon prior reservation, we also serve the “Fondue Chinoise” for groups.
